Take a short drive to Harlingen, TX for the 11th Annual Winter Texan Appreciation Fiesta on January 19, 2015 from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. About 3,000 Winter Texans will gather for a classic car show, an expo of quilts, a live band and a business expo.

Line dancing performance will get your boots to tapping. Live entertainment includes Mariachi los Cardenales and live music by Sergio and Ropin’ the Wind. If you’re a bike enthusiast, don’t miss the motorcycle show from Cool People Crew Riders Organization. Browse through Mexican handicrafts, be dazzled by a magic show from Ron Peña Magic Productions and munch on delicious food.

Come see the sun shine in the South Rio Grande sunsetValley, and enjoy an active lifestyle with biking, hiking, cycling, bird watching and walking through beautiful trails. “Snowbirds” who travel to Texas are not called snowbirds once they reach the state. Texas loves having seasonal retirees and travelers, so we welcome these travelers as “Winter Texans.” They, like all residents here, are a very welcome part of the state of Texas.
